Ubisoft stelt piratengame Skull and Bones opnieuw uit, dit keer naar 2023

Ubisoft heeft de piratengame Skull and Bones opnieuw uitgesteld.

De game werd voor het eerst in 2017 aangekondigd met een geplande release van 2019. Daarna werd het muisstil rondom dit project. Ubisoft hield meerdere presentaties, maar Skull and Bones was nergens te bekennen.

Dit jaar kondigde Ubisoft de game opnieuw aan met een releasedatum van 8 november 2022. Dat wordt blijkbaar ook niet gehaald, want nu is de game uitgesteld naar 9 maart 2023. Een uitstel van vier maanden om de game zo goed mogelijk te maken. Een open bèta van de game zal wel binnenkort gehouden worden.

Skull and Bones is vanaf 9 maart 2023 verkrijgbaar voor de PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X en de PC. De Xbox One en PS4-versies van de game zijn geschrapt.
