Sony PlayStation is ook dit jaar niet aanwezig op de Gamescom

Sony PlayStation slaat ook dit jaar de Gamescom over. De Gamescom is de grootste gamebeurs van Europa en staat gepland voor eind augustus.

Sony had zich enkele jaren geleden teruggetrokken uit zowel de E3 als de Gamescom. Dit jaar is de Japanse gigant wederom niet aanwezig op de beurs in Keulen, Duitsland. Een woordvoerder van Sony heeft dat bevestigd aan de Duitste website Gamemarkt.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed to GamesMarkt that they currently have no plans to exhibit at gamescom 2023. This means that the PlayStation 5 manufacturer, along with highlights like “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,” will be absent in Cologne this year.

Concurrent Nintendo is dit jaar wel aangwezig op de beurs. Microsoft lijkt dat ook te zijn, maar dat is vooralsnog niet bevestigd. Xbox heeft de afgelopen jaren wel gestaan op de Gamescom.
