Cross-play wordt de komende twee weken getest in F1 22

EA en Codemasters gaan dit weekend cross-play testen in de racegame F1 22.

Het plan is om cross-play dit weekend en volgende week weekend te testen in de vorm van een bèta. Spelers kunnen de modi Social Race en Two-Player Career tegen elkaar spelen. Met cross-play ingeschakeld kunnen PlayStation-eigenaren het opnemen tegen gamers op een Xbox-console.

Cross-play had op launch al een feature moeten zijn voor F1 22, maar werd op het laatste moment uitgesteld. Het plan is nu om eind augustus de feature voor iedereen beschikbaar te maken.

“Cross-play brings all our players together and allows them to settle the score of who is the best driver across all platforms. Cross-play also allows us to create better matchmaking opportunities so players can compete against rival racers with similar attributes”, aldus Lee Mather van Codemasters.

F1 22 is verkrijgbaar voor de PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One en de PC.
