Franse winkelier waarschuwt PlayStation-kopers, ‘Microsoft heeft wel Activision gekocht’

Een Franse winkelier heeft een klein bordje geplaats bij PlayStation-producten.

Voor de mensen die blind een PlayStation-console kopen, heeft deze winkelier een waarschuwing geplaatst. Microsoft heeft wel Activision gekocht staat er voor de PlayStation-producten, met Call of Duty tussen haakjes. De winkelier wil hiermee aangeven dat Call of Duty na de overname weleens exclusief kan uitkomen op de Xbox-consoles.

Volgens Bloomberg hebben Activision en Sony al een deal voor de komende drie Call of Duty-games. Microsoft zal deze contracten honoreren, waardoor tot eind 2023, in ieder geval alle Call of Duty-games ook gaan uitkomen op PlayStation-consoles. Daarna is het geheel aan Microsoft om te bepalen of games van Activision Blizzard, op andere platforms gaan verschijnen.
